Jehovah IMmeka (God is with you)

"When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, 'The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.'" (Judge 6:12)

  • "The Lord is with you" --> Jehovah Immeka (Bible Hub Interlinear)
    • "Im" - with - #5973 (Bible Hub Interlinear)
      • Usage: Primarily used to denote association, companionship, or presence. In ancient Hebrew culture, the concept of being "with" someone carried significant weight. It implied not only physical presence, but also: support, alliance, and shared purpose. (Bible Hub)
      • The idea of God being "with" His people is a recurring assurance of His guidance, protection, and blessing. (Bible Hub)
        • This made me think about the name, "Immanuel", which means "God with us", and it literally means that! (Jalein Abania, Bible Hub)
          • Cross Ref: "Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will be with Child, and give birth to a Son, and will call Him, 'Immamuel'." (Isaiah 7:14)
